Nadindra (Indonesia)
Hi there, I'm Nadindra, a roller skating enthusiast and dancer based in Indonesia. I've been rolling since 2019, and roller dance has become my passion. I've been dancing since I was 4 years old, exploring different styles, but there's something special about gliding on wheels that really speaks to me.
Seeking to elevate my skills, I sought guidance from professionals outside Indonesia, where resources were limited. That's when I connected with Morgan Weske, who has been a mentor ever since.
Now, I'm dedicated to spreading the joy of roller dance across Asia through Skate Asia, a roller dance hub based in Jakarta. I founded it to make roller dance accessible to all, offering classes, events, and performances. As an instructor, I cover everything from the basics to intricate routines and choreography, including roller cardio sessions for those looking to get their blood pumping.

Carly (England)
Hey, I'm Carly, a certified Dance Skate Instructor, based in Leeds, UK and Director of Potternewton Park Rollers.
I rediscovered skating as an adult after having my 3rd baby, in an effort to get fit. I fell in love with jam skating and the freeness, creativity and sense of achievement it gives me.
Having a dance background certainly adds to the excitement. Who doesn't love putting a Janet routine on skates? Getting in my 'skate lab' feels like when I was younger and we used to make up routines, then perform them to any one that would watch.
With ideas whizzing around my head, Morgan helped me structure them and is an amazing mentor!
Sharing my passion through the skate collective Potternewton Rollers by curating unique events, especially in sk8 dance is a privilege. Watch my page for the next chapter!

I was determined to elevate my passion to new heights. With a keen eye on the future, I am dedicated to creating even more thrilling events for roller skating aficionados to enjoy.

Maria Victoria (Dominican Republic)
Hola! Soy Maria Victoria! 🤠🌈🛼 I’m a Venezuelan roller skater based in the Dominican Republic and ever since I got my first skates in 2021 I knew I clicked with something wonderful and meaningful to me.
Rollerskating and Jam Skating have given me a space to express my creativity, move my body freely and just connect to a more carefree and colorful version of me. I have felt mental, physical and spiritual growth thanks to this hobby and all the kind people that I’ve been lucky to share with and learn from in this journey.
I believe Dominican Republic and Santo Domingo have a lot to offer to roller skaters in the Caribbean AND BEYOND, so hopefully with being able to teach this sport along with the Santo Domingo Roller Squad gatherings and activities, all will help to promote rollerskating amongst many people so they can connect to movement, music and this beautiful country with a whole new perspective 🌴🤍✨🛼
Nos vemos en el camino! Lxs quiero mucho! 🌈🫶🏼✨

Fer Medina (Léon, Mexico)
I am Fernanda Medina, and I feel free when I’m on wheels; scratching the space to the rhythm of the music.
Dancing on skates is a experience I would like more people experiment and feel the fullness in their soul. For that reason, I tried to bring this into my city, and now, make it bigger.
When I started I was addicted ‘cause there wasn’t any place where I can learn. I practiced in every place that looked “skateable”. Finally, in my duty to share this and meet more willing people who want to enjoy this experience I started teaching in a local Social Center two years ago. Then I paused, cause I knew I needed to prepare better. So I took different SkateDance / Roller Dance workshops in other cities. But something was missing: How to teach?
Even though I’m an educator…How can I teach this in a better and effective way? Morgan Weske taught me and shared me many tools to improve my teaching and the way to motivate and connect with more people to start or keep learning how to dance on skates. I’m eternally grateful with this opportunity and I’m sure that this certification will help me to start all over again to improve my classes for my students and grow the Dance Skating Community in León, Guanajuato, México!

Mari (Ireland)
I'm Mari Groove, originally from Brazil but now happily settled in Ireland. Three years ago, I tried on my first pair of skates, and I was hooked. The feeling of freedom, joy and happiness —it became my passion. As I got deeper into roller skating, I realised its amazing ability to bring people together. That's why I started Skate Revolution—a colorful community.
I started teaching back in October 2023. When I came across Morgan Weske's program, I knew it was a game-changer. Her certification wasn't just about learning new routines—it was about learning teaching skills, gaining recognition in the Irish community, improving my skills, and thriving the roller dance community. She increased my roller dance vocabulary through the catalogue of moves and teaching drills techniques, she also helped me develop essential interpersonal skills like public speaking, staying energized for teaching, adapting lessons on the go, and promoting broader community engagement.
But that's not all—since becoming part of an amazing international network and achieving certification, I'm now equipped to teach roller dance wherever I go. I'm gearing up to take my love for roller dance on the road, traveling across Ireland and possibly Europe to teach small communities like mine.

Tre (Florida, USA)
Hey! Everyone just calls me Tre (pronounced Tree) and I skate by the name “The Tre of Skate Life”.
During Covid I, like many others, decided to rekindle my relationship with skates. It was one of the best decisions of my adult life. I started taking lessons, meeting people, grew my skater family, and now I am an instructor! I will always be a student because the journey is more fun than having a single end goal. Skating is one of the few things that I have found where age is irrelevant, and your potential is completely up to you. It is where I exercise, focus, relax, express movement in sync with others, or vibe alone.
As a RollerFitness Instructor and Certified Dance Skate Instructor, it is now my turn to help others do all those things too. Let’s go!

Raqs (Philippines)
Hello, I am Raqs from the Philippines! Got bitten by the roller skating bug when I was kid but it was not until the pandemic happened that I found my way back to it. Growing up in the 90’s was fun but it was also heartbreaking to witness the demise of a hobby that I was just starting to love. I remember how that day that my mom brought me to the last rink standing was one of the best days of my life. Fast forward to 2020, I was invited to be part of the core group of Everywhere We Skate PH, an online roller skating community that was founded over the pandemic for skaters and skate enthusiasts. And the rest is history.
As someone with theater performance and streetdance background, I was immediately drawn to Morgan Weske’s style. And having a mentor like Morgan, whose dance and teaching approach I both can relate to has fueled my personal goals which are to continue learning while also educating others and passing on the love for this craft so it will live on here in my homeland.
This is why I have created RollerSkatePH, a local collective that focuses on creating and teaching choreography that is relatable for skaters of all levels. Follow our adventures and hopefully someday we get to do a collab and meet all of the other awesome roller skate communities around the world! 🫶🏼

Stepany (Budapest, Hungary)
Hey everyone, my name is Stephany, they call me Stephy and I’m from Hungary, Budapest. I’m the first one here teaching dance/jam skating classes regularly. I’m celebrating the 4th year of skating in October, and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way than on wheels now. It started off as a hobby, and half a year ago I quit my “regular” job, and became a roller skater full-time. I have a project with my dear friend, Lívia, which is called Skate Jam Budapest. We teach classes, organize events, local workshops, and workshops with skaters from abroad to enrich the culture.
In the 80s there used to be a huge skate life in Budapest, there were roller-discos and competitions, but since the rink closed there was not much happening until we started organizing skate events again in 2021 with Skate Jam Budapest and Budapest Roller-Disco. Originally, I’m a classical musician and I know what practice means. That’s something I also teach my students, how to practice, so it will benefit you. I’m also very focused on musicality and while learning fancy footwork, I also have skating as a creative outlet for self expression.
I’m more than excited to have this certificate from Dance Skate, and I can serve my community even better with the skills learned. If you join my classes, note: you are not just taking part in a learning process, but also taking part in building a new, colorful, and exciting culture!

Sol (Calgary, Canada)
Hello, I'm Sol! Originally from Mexico City, but now calling Calgary, Canada my home for the past five years. My journey with roller skating took off in 2022, a pivotal year marked by the loss of my best friend. Seeking comfort and a revitalized passion for life, I turned to the wheels, trying different styles, and meeting wonderful people along the way.
Driven by my love for movement, honed through various dance forms like ballet, contemporary, flamenco, and ice skating, I gravitated towards roller dance, and soon after I embarked on a new exciting chapter.
In February 2024, I fully embraced the lively roller skating community at our local rink and took the opportunity to start instructing. Roller skating has become a gateway for me to rediscover my inner child and establish a profound connection with my body and soul. As I slide on my headphones and start rolling, I'm taken to a place where I move to the beat of my wheels; it's like I'm meditating in a way.
This profound experience inspired me to share the joy of roller skating with others, igniting a desire to teach and spread the flowing energy of movement and music. It was this aspiration that led me to seek mentorship from Morgan Weske, someone who embodies a fusion of dance and roller skating expertise; becoming the first one in Canada to get her certification.
I’m on a mission to inspire people to dive into life's adventures so that they can feel alive, connected, and joyful. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found roller skating that does that for me. I’m stoked to share the joy and positive vibes and to continue developing what I have learned. If you find yourself in Calgary, let’s groove together!

Nick (California, USA)
Hello, I’m Nick! A musician, sound healer, massage therapist and workshop retreat host based in Big Sur, California.
I came to rollerskating in July of ‘21 as a means of self care to cope with the pandemic, a breakup and the sudden death of my sister, Sarah. What I found in rollerskating was community, music, exercise, nature, spirituality, self love and joy beyond measure. I believe each body has such innate wisdom in it, and if given a safe space and support, it can self regulate and reorganize itself back to homeostasis. Nothing moves stuck energy and gets me in my breath and body quite like rolling on 8 wheels!!
Becoming a certified Dance Skate instructor has empowered me more than ever to help you develop the skills and body language necessary to speak with the fluency and articulation for artistic self expression, accessing a new creative potential and instilling confidence to move on skates and throughout life. Slide and glide with me and people will say you got butter on your skates!! Available for lessons online or in person throughout the Central and Southern California coast.

Pilar (Barcelona, Espana)
Hi, I am Pilar, but I go by Pi. Since my childhood in Barcelona, skating has been a constant presence in my life. Over the years, I've explored different styles and shared my love for skating as an inline skate teacher for children in my city.
However, destiny had a surprise in store for me. The summer of 2023 led me across the ocean to Los Angeles, and there, at the iconic Venice Beach rink, I discovered a whole new universe: roller dance. The effervescent energy, the incredibly talented dancers, and the atmosphere of camaraderie enveloped me from the very beginning. I couldn't resist and plunged into this world, meeting wonderful people and learning from the best teachers in dance skate classes.
This transformative journey has led me to discover an even deeper passion: roller dance. Now, my heart beats to the rhythm of wheels, and my dreams are woven with the movements of the dance floor. I have made the decision to bring this passion back to my city of Barcelona, and make it the center of my life and profession.
I have completed my certification with Dance Skate, and under the guidance of Morgan, I am preparing for this new chapter with enthusiasm and determination. My vision is clear: I want to share the joy of roller dance with my community, offering high-quality classes that are accessible to all. I dream of being an active part of Barcelona's vibrant skating community.

Gabriela (Mexico City)
Hey!!! I´m Gabriela. I learned to skate when I was a little girl in Mexico City. I enjoyed going to the park with my dad and I loved my skates and the freedom they gave me. Then I grew up and stopped doing it for a long time. I studied Contemporary Dance at the National Institute of Fine Arts. I started working as a dancer, but then psychology, acting and production called me, so I have those three trainings too.
I found roller dancing in the pandemic, like many people. The confinement caused me to look for a way out of despair and sadness and those skates that had also been locked in the closet for years, gave me back the desire to get ahead. I found in the wheels an incentive, a psycho-emotional therapy, a meditation in movement, a wonderful exercise, absolute fun and a diverse and interesting community that opened an unknown, fascinating and addictive universe to me.
I then began to travel skating to expand my knowledge and experiences and the need arose to share what roller dance has done for me. My wish is that more people discover the benefits of this beautiful discipline and experience that feeling of happiness and freedom, because finding balance on wheels translates into finding balance in your life. So a little over a year ago I founded “Bliss on Wheels,” a movement that tries to strengthen roller communities in Mexico and connect them with other communities outside the country to enrich each other.
That's how I met Morgan and since I was fortunate enough to have her inaugurate our international workshops with great success, she has been a great inspiration and accomplice for me. Having taken this certification with her not only helped me grow as a skater, but it helped me land many ideas, structure them and carry them out. In addition to being a professional skater with extensive experience, Morgan is a woman who understands the industry very well and her enormous generosity has undoubtedly been a great help in starting a new chapter: The opening of the first “Bliss on Wheels Roller Dance Studio”! So thank you Morgan from the bottom of my heart! We are waiting for you in Mexico City to skate together! Can't wait to meet you!

Roller Doc (New York)
Greetings from New York! I go by Roller Doc and use either she/her/hers or they/them/theirs pronouns.
I started rollerskating again during the pandemic, and when I started posting about skating on Instagram, I began to connect with a community of people who were just as eager to share skating tips, swap choregraphy ideas, and co-motivate to learn more and get better at being on eight wheels.
Through many choreo sequences, a broken ankle, and a cancer diagnosis, I have found such joy in sharing my passion for dancing on rollerskates. As a former dancer and current teacher who teaches teachers for a living, getting certified to teach dance skating was a logical next step! And I can't wait to bring a lesson or workshop to a rink near you.

Hilde (Switzerland)
Hi there Skaters, I am Hilde, a fashion-loving Rollerskater from Zurich, Switzerland.
I started my adventure at the skate parks until I fell head over wheels for dance skating at the Skate Love Barcelona in 2023.
I am currently to build a skating community in Zurich. I choreograph routines and bring the waacking dance style to the rink. My talents in singing and playing different instruments bring that extra flair to my performances and choreography. I also teach classes at the roller disco and perform at events.
Whenever I am not at my day job as a nurse, I love traveling with my skates and attending skate workshops all over Europe. My second love is fashion, I design and sew my own outfits, the roller discos then become my runway.
I cannot wait to see where my wheels will roll me next. See you later roller skater :)

Jemma (Australia)
Hi everyone! I’m Jemma and I’m from Perth, Western Australia.
I've been passionately skating and competing since I was 19, transitioning from speed skating to dabble in roller derby at 35, and jam skating at 40 and now finally following my dreams of artistic skating. For the past three years I've been teaching both learn to skate and learn to dance on skates classes, guiding adults in to discover and enhance their skating abilities.
My academic background in biomechanics allows me to break down skills into logical, easy-to-follow steps, but Morgan's danceskate course has now equipped me to delve into the creative world of choreography. I thrive on seeing adults, especially those who are neurodivergent, gain confidence and joy through roller skating. My goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the fun of skating and build a strong community of like-minded adults.

Kris Ella (Texas)
My name is Kris Ella, and I am 45 years old. For the past 2.5 years, I have been on an exhilarating journey of self-discovery and joy through skating. It all started with a single desire: I wanted to skate backwards. Little did I know that this simple goal would transform my life in unexpected ways.
When I began, I quickly realized that before I could skate backwards, I needed to master skating forward. So, I dedicated myself to learning the basics, including how to stop without using a wall as my braking system. This process of learning to balance and focus on skates mirrored my personal growth. As I found my balance on eight wheels, I also found balance in my life. Skating became more than just a hobby; it became a source of joy and a way for me to embrace my authentic self, flaws and all. It taught me resilience—how to get back up after a hard fall and keep trying. This resilience spilled over into my everyday life, helping me to face challenges with a renewed sense of determination. I realized that just as I sought to understand the basics of skating to build a strong foundation, I also needed to understand my “why” to figure out my “how” in life and begin to heal from within.
Throughout this journey, I have found immense joy in skating. It encourages me to accept myself, continually improve, and become a better version of myself. While all of this happens on eight wheels, it also happens within my being. I love sharing my journey and the joys I’ve discovered along the way, hoping to inspire others to experience the same.
I am proud to have completed the DanceSkate certification, and I am eager to share what I have learned with others. Whether through hosting classes or meeting up with friends to skate, it all brings me immense joy. My skate baby is called EleSkate, which means “Ignite your Joy.”
Through EleSkate, I hope to inspire everyone to join the movement and find their joy on skates. In every aspect of my life, I value self-love, joy, and authenticity. Skating has taught me so much about these values, and I am excited to share this journey of learning and growing each step of the way.

Momo Foster (Texas, USA)
I fell in love with skating when I was about 5 years old when my mom bought me my first pair of skates. She let me skate everywhere we went including the grocery store. I lost touch with skating for a while, but in 2007 coming across Roll Bounce. I had to start roller skating again and hit the rink for $1 night. It was then that I was introduced to Roller Derby. I played Banked Track and Flat Track Roller for over 5 years and then added skate park/street skating to my journey.
During COVID, while the roller-skating community grew immensely, I knew I wanted to use my experience and skills to teach others to skate.
Adding to my experience in the fitness industry as an Instructor for 10 years, I got certified as a roller-skating instructor with Rolla and Roller Pump. Having access to so many amazing roller-skating mentors and influencers, coming across Morgan I had to add Dance Skate to my instruction toolbox. Part of my mission is to find ways to move our bodies with healthy alternative movement that is super cool, fun, and encourages empowerment and self-expression. It is an honor to be a part of the Dance Skate Instructor community along with others across the globe to do this. Let’s Dance Skate!

Dalila Gittens (Seattle, WA) USA
Hey, I’m Dalila, aka Spinderella. I’m originally from New York but now based in Seattle, Washington. I've been roller skating since 2020, and what started as a simple activity quickly became a vital part of my life. Skating has offered me not just physical movement but also a way to manage my mental health and find balance. It’s given me the space to reconnect with myself and stay grounded through challenging times. One of the best parts of this journey has been finding an amazing community of skaters, with whom I've built a sense of camaraderie while pushing each other to grow and improve on and off the skates.
Since January 2023, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to teach roller dance classes at The Beacon Studio. It’s been a rewarding experience to share my passion for skating and guide others in developing their skills, whether they’re beginners or more experienced skaters looking to refine their moves. Teaching has added a new layer to my own skating journey, as I continue to learn alongside my students.
As a certified dance skate instructor, I’m dedicated to continually enhancing my skills and refining my teaching methods. With Morgan’s support, I’ve been able to broaden my instructional techniques and discover new ways to engage with my students. Skating is a fundamental part of my life, and I’m excited to keep growing in this journey and share the thrill of skating with others as they explore it for themselves.

Latifat (Belgium)
Hi everyone! My name is Latifat, but most people call me Lati or Queen.ie. I live in Brussels, Belgium, and my roller skating journey began during the pandemic in 2020.
Not long after, I had a setback when I broke my ankle . It was tough, but it only made me more determined to get back on my skates once I fully healed. Fast forward a few years, and here I am—with the same enthusiasm, if not more! This journey has taught me so much about resilience: never giving up, avoiding comparisons, and most importantly, having fun.
Along the way, I’ve met so many wonderful people, traveled to amazing countries and cities, and, well… let’s just say my budget hasn’t been the same since . But honestly, it’s all been worth it! Whether I’m gliding, spinning, or grooving to music, roller skating has become my favorite way to express myself and connect with others.
I’m incredibly proud to have completed the DanceSkate Certification with Morgan—it was such a rewarding experience! I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to apply it all by organizing fun, accessible, and high-quality classes for everyone.
Through my unique “Groove. Shine. Flow.” method, my goal is to empower new roller dance skaters and help them feel confident and capable as they find their rhythm. I’m so excited for this next chapter. Let’s roll!!!

Camiron (Kansas, USA)
Hello, I’m Camiron, but can also be greeted as Cam. While based in the Sunflower State of Wichita, KS I’ve been a lover for rollerskates / rollerblades since childhood. There has always been a drive within me of wanting to become a better skater. It wasn’t until 2022 when I decided to purchase my very own skates.
Fast forward to year 2023, when I decided to participate in the 365 day Rollerskating challenge, in which I skated consecutively for 387 days. Those consecutive days provided so much insight into fundamentals, different types of skate styles, dance skating, etc.. During that period I became more confident in expressing myself creatively and became more open to meeting new people within the community. Towards the end of skating daily, I mostly fell in love with dance skating and decided to invest properly for my craft by purchasing Riedell OG 172.
Before the end of skating daily, I was searching for workshops in my area and found none. I was craving in person workshops and this is what led me to Morgan Weske Dance Skate Certificate program. The courses Morgan conducts are very beneficial in understanding how to host and operate a roller skate workshop successfully, also understanding how to move in roller skates.
I’m eager and motivated to begin hosting workshops in my area and other locations outside of my current state. If you can walk, you can skate, both took practice and strength building. One just requires to pick up feet more often (walking). Stop by my IG or TT and say Hi!

Emma (Ohio, USA)
I started skating in 1984 and was fortunate to have an incredibly supportive mom who is also an artistic competitive roller skater. Through the 80s and 90s we traveled and competed in USARS regional and national championships. Like many child competitors, we grow up, stop competing and then stop skating altogether. After college I got married, had a decent career in software, had kids and realized I needed a physical outlet.
I returned to skating at age 32, and coming back was hard! My body didn’t seem to move the same way it once did. Muscles were shaky. I’d forgotten how to breathe. But slowly, one practice at a time I got stronger, found my breath on wheels again and within just a couple years I was skating backwards again, and doing one foot turns. I say all this to remind anyone who has taken time off, or is new to skating, that we all feel shaky and unstable at first. Believe in yourself, show up for yourself, and the skating will come. Confidence is a state of mind, not the destination. The more confidence you infuse into your skating the faster you will feel at ease with your movement.
That ease of movement and fluidity is what drew me to Morgan and the Dance Skate program. I am so excited to bring this choreography and style to skaters in the Midwest. I am based in Columbus, Ohio and have been teaching beginner artistic skating fundamentals. This year I began teaching with the @clintonvillerollerclub and we are expanding to include Beg/Int and Int/Adv Dance Skate choreography. If you’ve always wanted to learn the downtown, crazy legs, the grapevine, or spins, we’ve got you covered! Follow the Clintonville Roller Club for our 2025 monthly class schedule. Send us a DM with any questions! We love to talk about skating, skates, and all skate things.
